Bats, Hellbenders, Frogs & "Tails to Rails". Oh, and Polar Bears!

Our Fall, 2017 Newsletter

Our second newsletter! We hope you enjoy it.

We hope everyone had a great summer. We had a blast!
Traveling to Nanuk Lodge outside Churchill, Manitoba in September was truly a trip of a lifetime. We had an amazing time learning about polar bears, wolves, moose, and a whole host of other animals and birds. We were within 50 feet from this mother polar bear and her cub while on foot and almost as close to this alpha male wolf and his pack. You can't get much more intimate to wildlife  and live to tell about it! Check out our blog Our Idea of Paradise

Tails to Rails

The public art sculpture, "Tails to Rails', is finally completed and will be installed in the downtown fountain in our hometown of Tryon, NC at 3 pm on Nov 22, 2017. If you are in the area, we hope you will join us for the unveiling. Read more about it at Tails to Rails

And speaking of upcoming events!

It's official! Dale's sculpture "Hellbenders Rock" is moving to the NC Zoo and will be installed in a new hellbender exhibit on May 8th, 2018. The event should be lots of fun so if you can join us in Asheboro, email us and we will be sure to get you an invitation.

"Cliff Hanger" helps bats in Hurricane Harvey!

One of Dale's sculptures was juried into The Trailside Gallery show in Jackson Hole this past August sponsored by Society of Animal Artists. "Cliff Hanger" sold and 100% of the proceeds were donated to two bat conservation organizations. One of which, World Bat Sanctuary, was instrumental in saving bats trapped by Hurricane Harvey. Go bats!
