Brook trout are not technically trout but are part of the char family of fish.
After sculpting this trout as a stone bas-relief, I knew it would look especially great as a bronze. Then, I loved experimenting with the patinas to see how much more life I could breathe into it.
Brook trout often hide in the shadows of a stream so I named this bronze fish sculpture, “In the Shadows”
